Ideas for the Perfect Keto Dinner!

My Keto journey has been super exciting, I've lost tons of weight and my blood sugars are the lowest in 30 years...



Every day I'm designing new recipes to keep me motivated and engaged in loosing weight. Staying away from white carbs is essential on Keto...If you want your body to start burning fat, then start changing your food intake and embrace new ways of eating. Now I'm a meat eater which has made my Keto journey much more diverse. I love cooking a good steak or fish, and accompanying it with Mediterranean salad or Halloumi Chips for that extra deliciousness.

I didn't study to be a chef and I failed in home economics. However, I have never backed down from a challenge, which is why cooking was a great way to be creative and learn to make dishes that would be worth paying for in a restaurant.

The attached image is one of my recipes which I made from scratch (Grilled Steak and Halloumi chips with Mediterranean salad and Hummus. DELICIOUS!!! and the good news is, it only takes 10 min to prepare...yes you heard right 10 min!


Ingredients:

Sirloin Steak spiced with Garlic salt, Mixed Herbs, chilli flakes

(Medium rare) usually takes 4 minutes

Spray the griddle pan with extra virgin olive oil

Make small cuts to the steak before placing it on the griddle.

Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes depending on your preference.


Take your halloumi cheese and cut it into chip sticks.

Add them into a bowl and marinade with coconut oil, paprika, garlic powder

Mix thoroughly before adding them onto a frying pan for 4-5 min

Choose rocket leaves with cucumber and cherry tomatoes, all cut up and marinated with extra virgin olive oil, squeeze of lemon, pink salt and paprika.


Sides: green olives and hummus.
