Intentional Breathing Habits!
Every morning I walk my dog around 6am and use this time to create the day I want.
We all have morning routines of some sort. Mine is very intentional. I'm always up at 5am, but don't actually get out of bed till 5.30am. I spend 30 minutes #manifesting the day I want to experience. This is super important to me, as it allows my mind to attract everything I want into it. Some days are easier than others but ultimately it sets me up for the day.
By 6am I'm out of the house with a flask of green tea, doggy bags, and a mindset for success.
Walking is so important to me as I spend a lot of time sitting in a car or behind a desk.
I usually walk for 25 minutes, in which time I have a very strict routine, that I would like to share with you. (#DEEPBREATHING) The benefits of doing this technique has such healing attributes, it allows my body to fully exchange incoming oxygen with outgoing carbon dioxide. It has also been shown to slow the heartbeat, lower blood pressure and stress.
Repeated deep breaths will naturally bring your heart rate more in sync with your breathing. This leads your brain to release endorphins, which are chemicals that have a natural calming effect. The magic number for me is 15 deep breaths. Don't ask me why, but for me this works miracles. By the time I get home and I'm ready for my #ketobreakfast, my mind is racing with excitement, focusing on what I'm going to achieve for the day. Deep Breathing helps me think more clearly, it allows me to look at the #positives and gives me the energy I need to accomplish great things.
The results of my habit has proven to be incredible. I can't wait to share some of the results with you over the next few weeks.
Make it a habit and see how your life changes within a few days.
